Imagine the Colosseum arena, the cheering crowd, the sound of swords replaced by the sound of engines. This is the atmosphere that Ferrari wants to recreate on the occasion of the Grand Prix of Las Vegas, thanks to a unique collaboration with Paramount Pictures to celebrate the release of the film Gladiator II. The sequel to the epic film directed by Ridley Scott, which sees Lucius as the protagonist in ancient Rome, finds its perfect counterpart in the world of Formula 1, where the drivers are modern gladiators, ready to challenge each other on the track for glory. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will embody these contemporary warriors, with customized helmets and suits, as if they were real armor.
A special livery for the SF-24
A new look also for the SF-24, which will show off a livery embellished with golden details and the words “Strength and Honor”, a clear tribute to the film and the motto of the gladiators. After attending the world premiere of the film in London, Leclerc and Sainz will fly to Las Vegas, the penultimate race of the championship, bringing with them the spirit of ancient Rome and the determination of those who enter the arena ready to fight. An image that is not difficult to think of considering that the Reds are still in the running for the title in the constructors’ championship. And Las Vegas represents perhaps the most important arena for the Maranello team, an event that cannot and must not be missed.

The partnership with Paramount Pictures
“We are thrilled to celebrate Gladiator II together with Paramount Pictures,” said Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer of Ferrari. “This collaboration combines the adrenaline of motorsport with the epic storytelling of the film, creating a unique experience for our fans.” Marc Weinstock of Paramount also commented on the initiative: “The sequel offers an extraordinary visual experience, and collaborating with Ferrari, the most iconic team in motorsport, was the natural choice to enhance this epic adventure.”
The homage to the film does not stop at the livery: during the race weekend, the actors of Gladiator II – Paul Mescal, Connie Nielsen and Fred Hechinger – will be guests in the Ferrari box, bringing a touch of Hollywood to the heart of the paddock. This collaboration represents a tribute to Italian tradition, with Ferrari embodying the excellence of Made in Italy, just as the Colosseum is a symbol of ancient Rome.
