Despite the investigation closed, the case dedicated to Christian Horner keep making noise. Red Bull team principal investigated for 'inappropriate behavior against an employee of the Austrian team, on Wednesday afternoon, before the start of the weekend in Bahrain, he was found innocent. Following the outcome of the investigation, therefore, Red Bull has confirmed Horner in his role within the team, even if there are different protagonists on the issue, including Wolff e Brown above all, who continue to ask themselves various questions about the matter.
Horner investigation, Wolff and Brown speak
Speaking at the team principals' press conference, Toto Wolff has no doubts about the investigation which saw Horner emerge unscathed. “The statement that was released is quite basic. We cannot look into other people's homes, however, it must be said that there is an organization in which a person reported a problem to HR and the sport in question received a message and admitted that everything was fine. I believe there is a need for greater transparency to understand what the position of this sport is”. For the Mercedes team principal there is a need to draw a line precise line on how to behave when faced with these situations which, with the track, have very little to do. “We're obviously all teams competing with each other, but – continued Wolff – we have to be honest about this case and evaluate what are the correct actions and reactions to apply".

Browns: “Transparency is absolutely necessary”
Same thought for Brown who, like Wolff, wanted to express his thoughts on the investigation that affected Christian Horner. “Despite the press release that was released, I see that there are still many rumors and speculation about it. I strongly think that the governing body has in a sense a responsibility and authority for our sport. Processes that see some must absolutely be guaranteed transparency the main element and, honestly, I couldn't say at what level these discussions are. However, as long as there is no agreement on the part of all the components, I believe that there will continue to be conjecture and unanswered questions in that process". Therefore, clarity also needs to be clarified for Brown and, in this respect, the intervention of F1 is also required in particular. “We have to draw a line on this topic because until there are certain answers nothing will be positive for F1".
And now, what to do?
At the moment, therefore, on the side of Liberty Medium e FIA everything seems silent. A few days ago, both factions expressed their desire for the issue to be resolved quickly. Ultimately, considering the release of the press release, that's how it was, but the paddock rises up and asks for explanations again on an issue that, at the moment, seems far from closed.
