The Qualifications of the F1 At Silverstone they saw Max Verstappen get pole position, after an incredible final lap. Piastri completes the front row, with his teammate and rival right behind him. Hamilton and Leclerc, fifth and sixth respectively, fail to make the difference in Q3.
Silverstone GP Qualifying Begins
Qualifying begins with 2 penalties already established. Kimi Antonelli will have to serve a 3-position penalty due to the accident in Austrian GP. Bearman instead was penalized by 10 positions after entering the pit lane at too high a speed, before hitting the wall, in the third free practice.
There are many clouds over the British circuit but for the moment it remains dry and all the riders therefore take to the track with slick tyres. After the first attempt in these qualifications at Silverstone Piastri is in front of everyone, followed by Verstappen, Alonso and Norris. The Ferraris, presumably with a different fuel load, are sixth, with Hamilton and ninth with Leclerc.
With 8 minutes to go in the session Colapinto loses control of his Alpine in the last corner once you touch the kerb. The Argentinean lightly hits the barriers and manages to restart, although after a few corners he is forced to stop, thus causing a red flag.

Qualifying: Ferrari Thrills Q1 at Silverstone
After a few minutes you can finally set off again. The pilots will still have 7 minutes to improve their time. In the meantime some pilots report the arrival of rain in the pit lane, but for now they seem to be just a few drops.
The first phase of qualifying at Silverstone ends with a big shiver for Ferrari: Leclerc finishes tenth, while Hamilton is even 14th after failing to complete his lap; Verstappen is first, ahead of Piastri and Bearman. Norris sixth, Mercedes 11th and 12th and Tsunoda 13th pass the first cut. The eliminated are Lawson, Bortoleto, Stroll, Hülkenberg and Colapinto.
Q2 at Silverstone in the name of Ferrari
Some drivers take to the track for their first run on used tyres, others on new ones. While McLarens and Verstappen make up the top 3, Hamilton is just outside the top 10, with Leclerc 13th: Ferrari will need a good second attempt on new tyres.
After a difficult start to qualifying, Ferrari returns to the front of everyone, confirming the sensations of the free tests. Hamilton first and Leclerc second lead the standings at the end of Q2Norris, Verstappen, Piastri, Bearman, Alonso, Antonelli, Russell and Gasly will also enter the third qualifying phase here at Silverstone. Sainz, Tsunoda, Hadjar, Albon and Ocon eliminated.
Big disappointment for the Bearman rookie, who due to the penalty, even with this phenomenal qualifying, will have to start in the last positions. In addition to his excellent Q3, also worth mentioning is Gasly, tenth with Alpine.

Pole Position goes to Max Verstappen
For Q3 the sun also comes out in some parts of the circuit, and so All the drivers are looking for Pole Position. Incredibly at the end of qualifying at Silverstone, Max Verstappen is the driver in front of everyone. Flying Dutchman beats Piastri and Norris, while George Russell surprisingly finishes fourth. Ferrari disappointment, who despite being two tenths from pole occupy the fifth, with Hamilton, and sixth position with LeclercCompleting the top 10 are Antonelli, an incredible Bearman, Alonso and Gasly.
