After a week's break, F1 returns to racing. There are only two races left before the summer break, and the teams will do everything they can to maximize their results. The Grand Prix will take place this weekendHungary, Budapest: let's discover the circuit of'hungaroring.
Hungarian GP: the story of an important circuit for an entire nation
The Hungaroring is a permanent circuit built in Hazelnut, 25 km from the capital Budapest. Opened in 1986 (year of the first grand prix held), is long 4381 meters and presents 14 curves. Due the areas DRS, one on the main straight and the second between 1 and 2. This is a very important circuit for Hungary in general. For the period of construction, it was a huge political achievement. It was also fundamental for F1, because we were finally getting closer to that bloc of socialist countries.
The roll of honor of the Hungarian GP sees, however, only one undisputed king: Lewis Hamilton. For the Briton, this is practically his second home. Here he has the most victories (8) to pole position (9). In both categories, he is behind him Schumacher (4 wins and 7 poles). The greatest number of victories among constructors belongs to McLaren 11, Followed by Ferrari e Williams 7.
Both the absolute and official records still belong to Hamilton. The first in 1'13 "447 and the second in 1'16 "627. Both were recorded in 2020.
High temperatures key factor. Watch out for dirt
The Hungarian track is not renowned for its drivers overtaking. There are two straights where you can attempt a lunge, but in reality there are quite a few short. For this reason the teams will most likely choose a setup from medium-high load. In fact, in the many medium-low speed curves you need a lot of load to be able to tackle them with as much precision as possible.
However, what the teams will have to keep an eye on are the temperatures. From the first edition in '86, only in 6 editions we saw different weather than that torrid. It will therefore be very important cool the machine optimally and do not let the tires overheat. Pay attention to this detail especially in qualification. The drivers will have to be careful not to completely destroy the tire before the last sector. In that area of the circuit you risk arriving with tires too hot and little grip, ruining a ride.
Another key factor will be The dirt. The Hungaroring was not used until May for a renovation of the paddock. Going off line would therefore be harmful to the tires and also to the driver.

Four-way fight for the victory at the Hungarian GP
12 races have been archived, 12 still to be played. At this point in the season and with cars so close together, making predictions has become a thing impossible. If before there was only and only Max Verstappen, now the Dutchman has to do his best every weekend. A Mercedes He hasn't been in such good shape for years, and who knows what Hamilton with such confidence he cannot repeat the Silverstone show. Deploy one of the two silver arrows (obviously based on what you see in free practice) It shouldn't be a bad idea.
Obviously also to be taken into consideration Ferrari e McLaren. If the second could even have become first overall strength, the first tries to understand what the right way is. With the hope, furthermore, that the new fund designed for this grand prix may give the desired results.
