Greeted Europe, Formula 1 is preparing to return to the track. The long journey begins this week tour de force divided between East and America, with the season waving its final checkered flag on November 26 in Abu Dhabi. For now, however, the appointment with Yas Marina is still far away: Formula 1, in fact, prepares his weekend in Singapore, a stage that could offer some surprises.
Ma(x)-rina Bay's GP
As always, he will make up for it with Max Verstappen. The Dutchman achieved his tenth consecutive victory in Monza, marking the history of F1 even more. In Singapore, considering the characteristics of the track, there is great confidence at Aston Martin. The Silverstone team, following absolutely not very positive performances - in particular in Monza - really believes that Marina Bay could be the right stage to try the feat, with Alonso who dreams – for real – of the coveted 33.
Ferrari, expectations not very high
Different speech instead for Ferrari. The Maranello stable has the task of defending third place in builders victory in the previous GP. In addition to playing defense, however, Ferrari hopes to be able to close the gap with Mercedes, from which a leading race is expected. On the same wavelength McLaren who both in Belgium and Italy has shown that he doesn't like motor racing tracks. Singapore may be the right layout to allow Norris and Piastri to fight for something important in the race on Sunday, considering – as for Alonso above Aston Martin – the top ten is practically obvious.
Is there room for the TD018 in Singapore?
Great attention paid to the Singapore GP also on the front FIA. In fact, it is not excluded that it could make its debut during the Formula 1 night GP a new technical directive. Let's talk about the TD018 who will establish those who will be the new constraints in the design of the front and rear wings, with the clear objective of the Federation to avoid the flexion of the wings, an element that has benefited more than a few teams.
