Max Verstappen on pole in Qatar GP, first time since Austria 2024
Just concluded the qualifications of the Qatar GP 2024 Max Verstappen leaves his statements to the microphones of F1, as usual.
"We changed the car during the parc fermé suspension, but we didn't think it was so promising in performance seeing the Sprint. I hope it will be repeated tomorrow in the race, I don't know yet, but it has certainly improved on the single lap which is what we needed."

"I'm on pole after a long time, since the Austrian GP, incredible. 57 laps on a brutal track, it will be tough physically but especially on the tyres. It will be important to manage them well, the front left was eaten up a lot and we will keep an eye on it tomorrow."
"I hope that with tomorrow's set-up it will go a little better. We are all very close also in the Sprint. We, Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari, all fast. We hope to continue to be there tomorrow too."
