- Leclerc is the first Ferrari driver to win from pole position in Monaco from Jody scheckter in 1979.
- The number 16 is the first Monegasque driver to win on home soil since Louis Chiron in 1931, when Formula 1 did not yet exist
- Winning in Monaco, Leclerc interrupts a streak of 12 consecutive poles not converted into a victory. His is the second longest streak ever after that of René Arnoux (13).
