In Miami we witnessed one of the most exciting races of this season. The second Sprint weekend of the season gave Formula 1 a new name to add to the prestigious register of drivers to win a Grand Prix, namely that of Lando Norris. For the second time this season the victory did not go to Max Verstappen, let alone Red Bull. At the sixth race in the championship we had 3 different winners, a sign that this year Red Bull's dominance seems less obvious. Let's see the TV ratings on sky sports f1 and NOW over the weekend in Miami.
F1, the ratings on Sky and NOW of the Miami GP
There was a great celebration on the podium. Everyone congratulated Lando and McLaren for the first career victory of the young protégé of the English team. Lando Norris had to wait 110 races to get this recognition, but he finally did it. The victory came on the track, beating Max Verstappen's Red Bull also thanks to a Safety Car which gave him an excellent wildcard. McLaren had arrived in Miami with their heads down, bringing updates that should have solved the problems highlighted by the MCL38 in the initial stages of this season. A good signal had arrived in China with Lando's podium which was then repeated in Miami, with completely different conditions.
Lando Norris' feat in the GP Miami, which took place at 22pm Italian hours live on Sky Sport F1 and streaming on NOW, held in front of the small screen 1 million 98 thousand average viewers, with a 6,7% share. The rerun of the Grand Prix, recorded instead on TV8 at 23pm 887 thousand average viewers, with a 10,4% share.

The next appointment is at our home, in Imola
After the Miami Grand Prix, Formula 1 moves to Europe, to our home. The next appointment is in fact in two weeks in Imola for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The anticipation therefore rises, also in view of the first highly anticipated updates at Ferrari to try to close the gap with Red Bull, and now also with McLaren.
