After two consecutive weekends with Sprint format in China and Miami, Formula 1 returns to its traditional weekend pattern with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. This race marks the first European event of the 2024 calendar and the return of the Imola GP after last year's forced absence caused by the flood. This year will be a special anniversary for the Imola Grand Prix, in memory of the 30 years since the death of Ayrton Senna, and Roland Ratzenberger. The Imola weekend promises to be a strategic turning point for the current season. So let's see the times for the Imola GP weekend. Formula 1 won't be the only protagonist this weekend. The minor categories, F2 and F3, will also take to the track in Imola.
From a competitive point of view, Ferrari arrives in Imola with the first major updates to Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz's SF-24. Updates that were glimpsed during the Filming Day in Fiorano. And they aim to bring Ferrari back to a direct challenge with Red Bull, but also to defend themselves from McLaren who came very close in Miami, taking the first victory of the season with Lando Norris. For the first time, Red Bull was beaten on the track, and therefore it will be essential to return to perfection during the Imola weekend.
