The checkered flag waves on the Hungarian GP which sees a new first time. It is indeed Oscar piastri to triumph in front of Lando Norris which closes the McLaren double. Third position for Lewis Hamilton who conquers podium number 200. Behind Leclerc, only fifth Max Verstappen and in the sixth Carlos Sainz. Excellent comeback from Perez (P7) e Russell (P8).
Hungarian GP everything went smoothly at the start, Piastri was ahead of everyone
At the start, it sprints better Oscar piastri that supports Lando Norris inside of. From the outside he tries to slip in Max Verstappen, who is pushed out in turn 1. The Dutchman doesn't fit and keeps his foot down, taking the position on Lando. After some discussions with the garage and the FIA investigation, the reigning world champion let the English pass. He climbs to fourth position Lewis Hamilton which now precedes Charles Leclerc. Alonso is in front of Sainz, but on lap 3 the second passed him again for sixth position. In the following laps, times begin to rise for everyone. The only exception is Piastri, which looks like a metronome.
The pit stop waltz begins with Hamilton, then everyone enters
The first to stop on the ride 17 it's Hamilton, looking for theundercut on Verstappen. But on the next lap he doesn't just stop Norris, with the 7-time world champion being "blocked" by Tsunoda on the last corner. The #4 manages to stay ahead of the #44, with the latter virtually ahead of the Red Bull. Piastri then also stops and returns easily in front of his teammate. Behind the two McLarens Lewis hammers out fast lap after fast lap. The only ones who haven't stopped are Max and others two Ferraris.
Now, the idea of single stop she is alive. But on lap 22 the Dutchman stops and Sainz, with Leclerc leader that the radio team asks the team to think about the Plan C. It will stop after the passage 24, standing in front of Yuki tsunoda which still has to make a pit stop. Behind these two, Carlos passes Sergio Perez which still has the tire from the start of the race.
All on new tyres, Leclerc the fastest on the track
After the pit stop, the fastest on the track is Charles Leclerc, which turns on the low 22nd. On lap 34, Verstappen is in the DRS zone on Hamilton. The Briton was in fact asked to do greater lift and coast to cool the engine. On the next lap, Max tries to attack. Lewis blocks, and the Dutchman tries on the second straight. He is on the outside, he has already passed him, but he goes long and the Brit is in front of him. Behind, Ferrari #16 is approaching and becomes more cumbersome in the mirrors of the two world champions. In front of, Norris he tries to stay with Piastri and is now at 1.2 seconds. Lap 39, Leclerc is in the DRS zone on Verstappen. Lap 41 is the fundamental one because Lewis and Charles stop. There is only one idea: the undercut on Red Bull.
Problems at McLaren: Norris stops before Piastri passes
Lap 46, the battle between the McLarens continues. In fact, it stops Norris to cover Hamilton and, with fresh rubber, it virtually is ahead. Piastri doesn't stop on the next lap, but after 2 laps and he is pulled with his partner. The Australian, however, is about 3 seconds behind the Briton. Lando is told that in any case he will have to let Oscar pass at the most opportune moment. Verstappen also stops and within a few laps catches up with the Hamilton-Leclerc pair. Max will still have to work hard to pass the Ferrari, managing to do so only on one lap 57. Up front, the #4 doesn't seem to have any intention of giving up the position to the #81, even reaching an advantage of 4 seconds. The radio teams are always the same, with the McLaren wall asking the Briton to slow down for protect the rubber.

Norris lets Piastri pass and he wins. It's a McLaren double
Last laps of the Hungarian GP, precisely the number 62. Verstappen attacks Hamilton, and the two almost touch in Turn 2. However, on lap 63, Max tries again. The last one rears up and almost ends up in the barriers in turn 1, and is also passed by Leclerc.
