The checkered flag waves for the Canadian GP. To triumph is Max Verstappen after a masterful weekend, followed by Lando Norris e George Russell. Right behind Lewis Hamilton ed Oscar piastri, protagonist of a contact with Russell in the final laps. Ferrari disaster: both Leclerc and Sainz retired.
Quiet start to Canada. Problems for Leclerc
Upon departure, everything goes smoothly. There Ferrari #16 tries to recover positions, but is the victim of a engine problem and loses approx 1 second on the straights. The other Red also doesn't shine, and the two find themselves in P2 and P9. Meanwhile, the two pilots of the Haas, started with rubber full wet, they go wild. Magnussen it goes up to P4, but the track dries out quickly and they are both forced to the Pit.
Sargeant on the wall, it's Safety Car. They all stop
Around lap 20, the Williams of Sergeant he gets into difficulty and crashes into turn 5. The officials are forced to expose Safety car. The unknown rain scares the teams, who make a comeback intermediate rubber. The ranking changed on that lap, with the McLaren which lit up and with Norris took the leadership of the race. The Brit himself, however, decides not to stop immediately and loses his position over Verstappen and Russell. The Dutchman won't give up P1 until the end of the race.
The waltz of the slicks begins. Leclerc takes a gamble, but then withdraws
During the Safety Car, Leclerc takes a gamble with the slick, and in the pits they try to cool the engine. The choice doesn't pay off, because the track isn't dry enough yet. A few laps later, Charles is lapped and Ferrari decides to collect the car. Around lap 44, the track seems ready for the dry compound. Of the tops, the first to stop is Hamilton. It takes a few laps to get the tire up to temperature. Piastri, Russell and Verstappen are in front of him, Norris continues. He competes with Verstappen, but the pit exit is completely wet. The Dutchman passes.

Fiery final laps, the other Red also out
Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Sergio Perez he turns into turn 6 and hits the wall. His rear wing breaks and he is forced to return to the garage. On the next round, in the same round, Sainz he turns and takes it Albon. At this juncture the race for both ends, and the Race Direction brings out the Safety again. At the restart, Russell and Norris battle it out, with the latter eventually coming out on top. The other Briton is then forced to wrestle with Piastres. The Australian tries, and the two make contact. All this is favourable Hamilton, who passes his partner and the McLaren. A few laps from the end, the #63 Mercedes recovers and passes both Piastri and his teammate. It then closes third position.
