The checkered flag waves on the race in Spain that saw the triumph Oscar piastri before Lando Norris which closes the double McLaren. Third position for Leclerc, Followed by George Russell. Only P10 for Max Verstappen after a really great race chaotic. So let's go and find out everything that happened.
Norris disaster at the start, Ferrari super
At the start the lights go out instantly after the fifth light. Piastri starts well, while it is Norris the one in difficulty who loses the position on Max Verstappen. Super start instead for the two Ferrari, with Hamilton in P4 e Leclerc in P5 after a great overtaking on Russell in turn 5. The Englishman doesn't accept it and tries again a few laps later on the straight, but to no avail and the two Reds try to stay under the #4 Papaya. On lap 7 the brawl between the two Reds begins, with the #44 defending itself on the #16, with those in front pulling away. At the moment, however, no communication from the team on a possible swap.

Swap for the Rossa, it's a fight between Lando and Max
After a few laps of fighting comes the request from the Cavallino wall to swap positions. Leclerc is on a different strategy and now he wants to go and catch those in front, putting himself on their time. Meanwhile, behind them the waltz of the pit stop, with many fitting a second red tyre after just 10 laps of the race in Spain. It is precisely at this moment that the fight between Lando and Max for second place. This helps Charles to close the gap, but McLaren immediately cuts the Red Bull at the start of lap 13, perhaps because the #1 knows that this is not his race.
Verstappen enters the pits, McLaren doesn't react
On lap 15 he stops Verstappen to try and undercut the British driver who has just overtaken him and is now lapping in 20.5. McLaren doesn't react immediately, and therefore virtually loses P2 with the reigning world champion, who in the meantime prints the fastest lap in 1.19.5. At this rate, the Dutchman is also ahead of the current leader Oscar piastri. On lap 17 it's time for a pit stop for Hamilton that mounts the rubber yellow. The next step is the time to Leclerc, also mounting the medium tyre. Meanwhile Max passes on the track Kimi Antonelli e George Russell going up to P3.
Pit stop also for McLaren, Max leader
On laps 22 and 23 the two Papayas come back in, causing the first to stop Norris and subsequently Piastres. Both, to regain the initial double, will have to overcome on the track Max Verstappen, currently the leader of the race in Spain. The Austrian team's driver will certainly have to do a second stop, having mounted the same mix with which he started. During these passages the grand prix of lights up Leclerc, which after a light introduction of the rubber (fundamental here in Barcelona) laps faster than the top 3.

Fights in the rear and Max stops again
In the rear, a fight rages between Albon, Lawson e Fernando Alonso, with the latter being the protagonist in the initial stages of the race of an excursion on the gravel. The New Zealander tries to attack the Thai, closes the overtaking but damages the Williams' wing, leaving debris in turn 1. Nando takes advantage of this and also passes #23, with the latter, discounting a 10 second penalty, withdraws. No action instead against Liam Lawson.. On lap 30, after 15 laps on the soft tyre, he returns to the pits Verstappen to fit yellow rubber. It will most likely be a race 3 stops here in Spain for Max. and in fact he immediately pushes to recover as much ground as possible on his direct rivals. At the next stage it's a fight for the P10, with Lawson still involved in a wheel-to-wheel contact between him and Oliver Bearman.
Verstappen passes Leclerc and goes hunting for McLarens
On lap 36 Max reaches Leclerc and, without even thinking, paints him on the main straight. Now it's open hunting for the two McLarens, gaining about 1 second per pass. Between the two Papayas, the one in more difficulty seems to be Oscar piastri, with Norris that turns half a second faster than his teammate. On lap 41, nobody moves in the Papaya pits, while in the Ferrari pits they are ready for the pit stop Leclerc, which mounts the second new medium tire. The next step is up to George Russell, which with the rubber soft succeeds in the undercut on Hamilton, with the British driver having a fresher red than the Mercedes. The #81 lights up again and extends his lead over Norris to 5 seconds thanks to a 19.2 on a rubber of 24 laps.
Third stop for Max followed by the McLarens
Lap 48, the third stop in the race in Spain arrives for Max VerstappenOn the next lap he also passes through the pits Lando Norris, who manages to stay just a few tenths ahead of the Red Bull #1. The same scene occurs with Piastres, which maintains the first position. The race of the Ferrari #16 is instead becoming a nightmare, as it is unable to light its tyres in P4 and, if the trend does not change, it could risk being attacked by both Russell and Hamilton.

Retirement for Antonelli, Safety Car and everyone returns
On lap 55 there is a big twist in this race in Spain: Kimi Antonelli retires due to engine problemsThe Italian's Mercedes stalls at turn 10 and the Federation is forced to withdraw the Safety car. They all stop, but Max is forced to fit a new white tire, the only one available. The McLarens, the two Ferraris and Russell instead use the red compound, and will therefore have a huge advantage over the Red Bull. The safety car comes in on lap 61, and on the last corner Max almost loses it and is overtaken by Leclerc. Behind Russell he fails in the enterprise, having a small touch with Verstappen who goes to cut the chicane.
Chaos between Max and Russell, Piastri wins
On lap 64 Max is told to let Russell pass for having taken an advantage at the restart. The Dutchman slows down towards turn 5, the British driver passes him, but Max accelerates again and the two catch up. At turn 13 George is let go and Verstappen joins him. For that contact a penalty of 10 seconds at #1, thus closing the race in P10. So he wins Oscar piastri, with Norris that seals the McLaren one-two. Closes the podium Charles Leclerc, on his third podium of the season with the Rossa. P4 for Russell and P5 for one extraordinary Nico Hulkenberg with Sauber. Then Hamilton, Hadjar, Gasly and Alonso. But be careful, because on the Ferrari #16 there is an investigation for a contact on the straight between him and Verstappen. The decision will be made later.
