30 minutes before the end of the session, Lando Norris with soft mix completes the lap in 1:30.727, beating the pole position time obtained by Carlos Sainz last year. Norris first in Singapore GP FP2
Great simulation race pace by the Englishman Norris, who was however called back to the pits after touching the wall of the Marina Bay circuit. Sainz he complains about the brake operation, while Verstappen fatigue to put together the qualifying lap and remains in 15th position.
With 2 minutes left on the clock, George Russell Kisses the Wall, after a micro-lock of the front right. The yellow flag remains exposed while the driver of the Silver Arrows restarts leaving pieces of his front wing damaged in the impact on the asphalt.
Baku race winner Oscar Piastri finished this session behind Yuki Tsunoda. The Japanese driver managed to bring his RB to fourth position, while his teammate was sixth. Fantamangers will have the chance to observe the drivers on track in FP3 tomorrow, before choosing who to line up.
