Just over a week until the first of two home grands prix for Ferrari. The first of these will take place ad Imola, and the Red, thanks also to some updates, expects to be able to put on a show on its native soil. In Maranello, however, it was not decided to just change the car in view of the race in Italy. In fact, Ferrari has announced that Xavi Marcos will no longer be Charles Leclerc's engineer, as explained in the Scuderia's official press release.
Xavi Marcos is no longer Leclerc's race engineer
At Ferrari, changes are the order of the day. The last one, in chronological order this time, concerns Charles Leclerc's garage. Xavi MarkIn fact, he will no longer be Leclerc's track engineer starting from Monday 13 May. As specified releaseo “Scuderia Ferrari HP announces that starting from Monday 13 May Xavi Marcos will contribute, with his significant experience gained in the Formula 1 team as a race engineer, to the development of other important company programs”.
The replacement has already been chosen: it is Bryan Bozzi
Leclerc will consequently have a new figure at his side at the wall. However, it is not a stranger, but a Bryan Bozzi, already present in the Monegasque team:
“Scuderia Ferrari HP announces that Bryan Bozzi, currently Charles Leclerc's Performance Engineer with ten years of experience in the team, takes on the role of Race Engineer starting from next weekend's Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola ”.
Double move for Ferrari at Imola: winning choice?
The home grand prix is never easy for a team, because in addition to the normal pressures there are those of your country's fans. But in Modena they seem to be well prepared.
