Sainz satisfied, Leclerc less so
In Friday's statements, it emerged that Sainz was more satisfied than Leclerc, perhaps also due to his final position in FP2.
These are Sainz's words: “Overall it was a positive Friday: the car seems to be in good shape this weekend, also thanks to track characteristics that are more suitable for us.
We are only at the beginning and tomorrow will not be easy at all because the values are very close with many cars in a pocket of cents. We will continue to work to find even more performance, especially in the long run where I believe there is room for improvement. I want to thank all the fans: it's nice to drive in front of them here in Monza!".
This, however, is the comment of Charles Leclerc, sixth at the end of FP2: "It was a busy day. Our performance was quite good although I struggled a bit with the balance. We still have to work on it for tomorrow, especially on the flying lap. In terms of long runs, however, I found myself more at ease".
