To understand what happened at Silverstone, in which Ferrari did not go beyond ninth and tenth position, there is a clear objective involved on the part of Liberty Media, linked to show. It may seem absurd, and this is true, but never like in this season can one pass - as in the case of Maranello team – from being the second force on the track by detachment, to becoming the fourth over seven days.
It's always a question of tenths... it's the new Formula 1
The striking examples are right before our eyes: Austria e Great Britain. Two different runways, in which the same SF-23 assumed very different behaviors. On the Silverstone track, you can blame several things, try - practically as you always do when you don't get some results - the big culprit of the weekend, which could be there if desired strategy. Perhaps the first real mistake since Vasseur became team principal of Ferrari. Stopping Leclerc too soon, as also admitted by the Monegasque, it was a choice that didn't pay off – and this is evident – but it is also too easy to speak in hindsight. The truth, in reality, seems to be very clear: it is one Ferrari that lacked pace and that, regardless of the strategic choice, he could not have aspired to a greater result than the one obtained.

Ferrari, Silverstone to forget but you have to dare
Ferrari leaves Silverstone as fourth force. The power of McLaren and the clear step backwards of Aston Martin are undoubtedly surprising - perhaps the great disappointment of the British weekend. One thing seems to be certain: establish hierarchies between teams, except for the peak where there is only and exclusively that number #1, it seems impossible. In Ferrari, however, one thing must be asked, and it concerns the possibility of being able to do so every now and then know how to take risks. The soft, despite Friday - as admitted by Vasseur in the post GP – had not given great hope given the degradation, it could have been used as a racing tyre. Not much more would have been done, because the underlying problem is related to the performance of the car itself, but for this very reason it could have beendare' – especially looking at how the same soft worked very well on the other cars.

Last stop before another double
After the week's break we fly to Hungary, on a track where we are expected an SF-23 certainly faster than the one seen in England, where there is no need to be afraid.
