Small alarm bell at Ferrari with Carlos Sainz absent on this first day in Jeddah. Ahead of the start of the weekend of Saudi Arabian GP, Carlos Sainz did not take part in Wednesday's media day due to health problems. The pilot of the Red, in fact, as reported by several Journalists present in the paddock after initially introducing himself, he returned to the hotel as a precaution, in the hope of being able to recover by tomorrow to be able to get on track in view of the start of the Jeddah weekend.
Ferrari looking for confirmation in Jeddah
After the excellent performance achieved during the Bahrain GP, a third place to be precise, Sainz, not being at his best, preferred not to take part in the first event which inaugurates, as usual, the start of the weekend. In fact, his teammate spoke at the press conference Charles Leclerc who explained how the SF-24 is a car on which there will be no shortage of updates for the next Grands Prix to try to worry and get ever closer to Verstappen's Red Bull, which started the season by dominating the Bahrain GP.

Health problems for Sainz, but the weekend is not at risk
Based on what we learn, Sainz's health condition is not a cause for concern. His presence on the track, starting from tomorrow, on the Jeddah track is certainly not at risk, although we will need to continue to monitor the situation to understand if the Spaniard will be 100% ready to be able to push hard on his SF- 24. The Jeddah track is certainly not one of the best in terms of escape routes and, usually, a hypothetical mistake can pay a high price. For now the Spaniard rests and recharges in view of a weekend in which he is called to continue to demonstrate the good things he did in Bahrain, which he gave well 21 points to his Fantamanagers, ready to bet on him again for this weekend.
