One week before the weekend in Imola, Ferrari is preparing to face the first of two home grands prix. The goal is to return to stable competition with McLaren e Red Bull, therefore for the victory. As per the regulations, the various stables have two days available filming day to record gods videos for sponsors. La Rossa, after testing yesterday on behalf of the FIA of the new mudflaps, she then returned to the track at Fiorano with the SF-24 covered in the logos of Hewlett Packard, Led by Charles Leclerc e Carlos Sainz for 200 km in which the team was able to debut the news on the SF-24 Evo scheduled for Imola.
SF-24 Evo at Imola, what changes on Ferrari
Once again, however, on the Italian single-seater there is not only the coat of arms of the team's new partner company. In fact, at Fiorano, Ferrari was seen for the first time SF-24 Evo, or the evolution of the machine conceived at the beginning of the year. These updates had already been scheduled and announced by Frederic Vasseur at the February reveal, along with two other packages later in the year.
The first substantial difference with the first version of the SF-24 are the Red Bull style side inlets. These are the openings on the sides of the car that collect cooling air for the engine. However, Ferrari engineers did not copy the philosophy of the Milton Keynes team. In Maranello we were working on this typology since before the launch of the various single-seaters. Without a doubt, the engineers who arrived from the rival team in December had a hand in conceiving the idea, and it will be important to understand whether it will work on the Red.

Not only the inlets, Ferrari also modified the bonnet and bottom
The package of updates that we will see in Imola does not only concern the belly area. The area of bazooka (The engine hood) has been enlarged, so as to convey the flows into a vent located at the point where the bonnet narrows. The background sidewalks and Venturi channels, even if these are minor improvements. The great work will certainly have been done under the car, which is one of the most important areas in these ground effect machines. Finally, the front wing has been slightly redesigned to go hand in hand with the new type of bellies and halo. The first is narrower to accentuate the efficiency of the beam wing, the second is no longer directly connected to the car body.
