Nothing to do. Verstappen, once again, proves elusive. TO Jeddah Max triumphs Verstappen who finishes ahead of his teammate Perez, exactly like in Bahrain, and to Charles Leclerc's Ferrari. The Monegasque, therefore, achieved his first podium of the season, placing himself behind the two Red Bulls. To underline, even more, the super performance of Bearman who, starting 11th, finished his first race, at the age of 18, in Formula 1 and in a Ferrari seventh position, ahead of Lando Norris and a certain Lewis Hamilton. A Ferrari that fails to worry Red Bull, but which still proves to be the second force on the track. Analyzing and commenting on what happened on the track in Jeddah, at the end of the Saudi Arabian GP, is the president of Ferrari John Elkann, spoke exclusively in an interview on Sky Sports.
Ferrari, Elkann's post-Saudi Arabia GP interview
President, how do you evaluate this race in Saudi Arabia?
“It was a great race. We achieved the podium with Leclerc and a great debut with Bearman and above all a great team spirit with Carlos Sainz who came here despite the surgery. This is what makes Ferrari feel special."
You have a very full nursery: do you like seeing all this variety?
“One of the great efforts made in recent years is to focus on young people. Just look at Leclerc and Bearman today who, as we know, grew up at Ferrari. For us it is a sign of great pride. Talent at Ferrari always manages to find a place in which to express itself. Today is a very important day for Oliver: seeing the race with his father was really nice and how he was chosen as driver of the day. It's not easy to be so compact and united. The spirit that exists in Ferrari is strong and unique."

Are you satisfied with the start of this championship?
“If we think about where we were a year ago, we certainly started off better. The objective is to try to progress and improve: this is what Ferrari must do. I want to be able to share this group cohesion: there is a desire to work together to ensure that Ferrari can fight together."
Will Ferrari have to win the World Championship by 2026?
“It will be a cycle that will close. The important thing is to be competitive and fuel this spirit that was felt this evening."
On Hamilton's arrival?
“I have also said publicly what a great driver he is and how much good he has done for Formula 1. Thinking that he will join Ferrari is an important sign of how much he believes in the team and hopes he can do very well.”
