It seems don't stop never the process of expansion on American soil that the Formula 1 started a few years ago. After entry into the calendar of the stages of Miami e Las Vegas, since 2026 the Grand Prix will also be added Chicago, thus bringing the Stars and Stripes weekends to four.

Il COTA – Circuit of The Americas – by Austin it was the only US stop present on the calendar in 2021. Already from the following year, however, the presence of the F1 Circus in the States is increased exponentially. In 2022 it was raced for the first time in Miami, while in 2023 we witnessed the return of single-seaters to the iconic Nevada city: Las Vegas.
The debut of these two circuits marked a new phase of the American adventure carried forward by Formula 1. Theincrease in interest by the American public for the world of racing is nothing new, especially following a new segment of audience reached thanks to the Netflix series "Drive To Survive". It is therefore not surprising that the United States is now ready to host a fourth Grand Prix, That of Chicago.
Chicago will host the fourth US Grand Prix on the calendar
In the past they had emerged several hypotheses regarding the entry into the calendar of a further Grand Prix in the States: from possible lead among the most famous streets of New York to night race illuminated by the lights of the skyscrapers of Chicago. Yet missing the official, but as reported by Fastest Pitstop, the contract to bring Formula 1 to Chicago in 2026 would already have been signed.
With the contract already signed, all that would remain complete the route of the track, while the planning of the event seems to be almost complete. Initial speculations they had reported that Chicago might replace the annual stop at COTA, whose contract expires at the end of 2026. For now we only know that it will be a night race and that it will take place before the weekend in Canada. We just have to wait the official announcement should arrive in the next few weeks!
