Leclerc then went on to talk about the FP2. Second free practice session which saw him protagonist of a small problem on his single-seater: “In FP2 the feeling seemed good. I spent some time in the pits because there was a little problem on the car. This basically cut my race simulation in half. Overall, it was a tough Friday, but I'm not worried about tomorrow – continued the #16 of the Red. The Munich native explained how he is sure he knows how can he put the ride together - I know perfectly well what we have to do on the car and where I have to put the ride together. All the interventions we made concerned setup changes, but it is these small details that should help us do well tomorrow”.
Leclerc's words are truly encouraging. Even though the weekend didn't start off well, his optimism does not wane. But he will have to perform a miracle to ensure an excellent position in qualifying.
