If it was a difficult start for Leclerc in Spain, the same cannot be said for Carlos Sainz. The #55 of the Red team finished in P3 FP1 and in P2 the FP2. The new is also an accomplice update package brought by Ferrari, the Spaniard managed to immediately find the feeling with the car.
Sainz's satisfaction: “Single lap ok. We need to improve our pace."
In interviews following free practice, Carlos confirmed his teammate's words. In the first tests, everyone found it driving difficulties given the high temperatures: “There were many factors on the track this morning that didn't allow us to put together so many laps. Above all the temperatures so high and the wind they were very difficult to manage. On the flying lap I think everything goes well – continued Sainz, speaking about the data collected on pace and fastest lap – the problem like last year should be the race pace. We need to find the right team to do well on Sunday too".

“Updates work, we are happy”
The son of art then continued focusing on the updates mounted on your vehicle. The data collected by Italian mechanics were compelling, and Sainz himself is happy about it: “According to the data we have collected the updates work fine. With teams so close, profit margins are narrow. This means that you don't always need a huge package, but even a small package like this can make a difference. Obviously we are very satisfied with how things are progressing.".
An important start to the weekend from Sainz. After so many weekends in difficulty, it seems that the Spaniard has found the feeling again with the #55. So watch out for the Red's driver too from a FantaF1 perspective, as it proved to be on the flying lap really competitive.
