The agreement has not yet been reached, but it seems to take very little. The more days pass, the closer Andretti gets, naturally with his team, to enter Formula 1 from 2025. The request to FIA has been done and, barring major twists, should soon be accepted.
Andretti in Formula One: “I am constantly updated”
Although the various teams - Domenicali included - have never given permission for the entry of an eleventh team into F1, it seems that the FIA has given its approval to Andretti who, interviewed on SppedWeek, commented on the F1 issue: “I am constantly updated by our project managers. Everything is progressing according to schedule for the construction of the new headquarters in Fishers, Indiana. We hope to move from the old location by the end of 2024″
“We will have the first F1 car built in the USA”
The transfer to the new headquarters is therefore ready, with F1 increasingly in the crosshairs: "The investment is really huge and we want to establish our projects for North America and the Formula 1 team there. Our first car will be built in Europe, but then we will build them in Indiana. We will have the first Formula 1 car built in the United States. I am optimistic. I hope that the federation will clarify things in the coming weeks. In any case, we are preparing at full speed. We currently have 25 employees and the number is constantly growing".

There are those who oppose it
It is difficult to say whether, in the end, the will of the FIA and that of Andretti will triumph. Just think, in fact, that about two weeks ago Wolff claimed that for reasons of "safety" F1 could not support another team – which is the equivalent of two more drivers on the track. The battle becomes increasingly thorny, with Andretti who on the one hand is convinced that he will soon enter the famous Circus, while on the other there are those who are sure that he will remain – for quite a while yet – only with ten teams on the track.
