Abu Dhabi with 3 races, extraordinary event not exploited properly
The Abu Dhabi GP, as an extraordinary event, includes 3 races instead of 2. This is because, last weekend – which had proclaimed Pulling world champion – saw Race 2 cancelled for technical problems. Dorian Pin, main rival for the title of Abbi Pulling, so he could have scored some points to still be in the running for the drivers' title.
The pressure, however, did not work in Pin's favor, who managed to qualify only 5th in Race 1 due to the times canceled due to track limits. Unfortunately the Yas Marina track is not an easy track, it alternates between fast and very technical sections and for the young drivers it was a difficult experience.
Abbi Pulling, With the pole in both races, gets the points needed to ensure that it can still define itself World Champion of the 2024 season. His time, 1.56.081″, cannot be matched, but they come close. Chloe Chambers e Hamda Al-Quibaisi are just 1 tenth slower.
Here are the greys of the 3 races scheduled for the F1 Academy Abu Dhabi GP.
