A Marina Bay for the Singapore GP, the F1 Academy takes to the track to tackle Race 1. Abbi Pulling is the winner, behind her Maya Weug. and Dorin Pin, at risk of podium due to the penalty. A race marked by penalties that of Singapore which saw 3 drivers (of 15) penalized.
Doriane Pin and Bianca Bustamante's false start in Singapore
La Singapore GP Race 1 has suffered a double formation lap, resulting in a reduction in revs from 12 to 11. Bianca Bustamante she positions herself completely out of position, causing a necessary restart. For her, a penalty of 5 " to be discounted during the race (Stop & Go).
At the second start it is Dorian Pin to be badly positioned on its second row on the grid, even if for her the error is millimetric. If the French driver had difficulty keeping a tight grip on the podium, despite going strong yesterday in FP and Qualifications, Maya did not stop for a second to give it her all behind Pulling, demonstrating her notable improvement.
Compared to others Wild Card of the season, Ella Lloyd she managed to get a decent position. However, she dropped to 9th due to the 5” penalty for the same reasons as her colleagues. Emely De Heus she fails to assert herself well, finishing 15th after attempting an overtaking move that goes badly, causing her to spin off the track and thus lose positions.
Flat race for Chloe Chambers who still managed to finish 5th, clean and linear for 11 laps.
