Le Al Qubaisi sisters there are two female riders present on the grid of 2024 season of the F1 Academy. Amna born in 2000 and Hamda born in 2002 run respectively with Visa Cash App Rb and Red Bull livery. Their team, however, is MP Motorsport. We know better the careers, albeit short for their young age, of the Emirati sisters of the F1 Academy.
Amna Al Qubaisi from Karting to the F1 Academy
Amna began racing karts in 2014, achieving important performances in the finals of the Rotax Max Challenge world championships. He was also of the same skill in the X30 Euro Series and in the Italian X30 Championships.
In 2018 she became champion of the Italian F4 at the age of 18, also competing in the F4 UAE, the Asian F3 and the European Formula Regional championships.
For the second year in a row he has the pleasure of sharing the passion with his two-year younger sister, Hamda, racing in the same team.
Hamda Al Quibaisi, second year of the F1 Academy
This is also his second season in the F1 Academy for Hamda, in fact he also participated in 2023, the debut of the category. She started racing karts in 2015 and became the first Emirati to be invited to the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy.
In 2019, at just 17 years old, he made his debut on single-seaters racing for Abu Dhabi Racing supported by Prema, also in some stages of the Italian F4. She obtained, with the same team, three victories in the F2020 of the United Arab Emirates in 4, becoming the first girl to win in the series.
In 2022 he took part in the Formula Regional Asia and the Regional European Formula, but unfortunately with poor results. Her first victory came in 2023 on the Valencia circuit and then she won twice in a row in Zandvoort, finishing second in the final standings.
