Stefano Sundays sends a loud and clear message to FIA, following of the investigation – opened and then closed 48 hours later – which involved the Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff, and his wife Susie, as well as CEO of the F1 Academy. “I have the impression – explained Domenicali within the program 'Politics in Balloon' – that the more Formula 1 grows, the more the differentiation between FIA and Formula 1 becomes less and less relevant. We must talk about a platform that, necessarily, it needs different elements and skills. We are talking about structures that must be clear: for this reason everyone must do their own thing an examination of conscience to do one's job better".
Domenicali: “After the FIA investigation into Wolff we need to examine our consciences”
A strong and clear message from the CEO who, analyzing the exponential growth of Formula 1 over these years, asks for greater attention, especially from the Federation. “It seems obvious to me that the Federation must examine its conscience. Beyond this, however, there is something to say – continued the CEO – which must also do it in the right way".

Domenicali points the finger at the FIA, analyzing who they are the negative aspects that will have to change, especially in view of next season. Words that make it clear that the relationship between the Federation and Formula 1 itself is not exactly the best. Domenicali, however, in addition to recommending the FIA, also wanted to list the positive aspects, which we need to continue working on. "We are lucky enough to do this job and I won't deny that there are some truly incredible Federations around the world."

"We really couldn't do without commissioners of journey and of all those who work with passion. With their absence, I don't think we could continue to carry out our work as we have been doing in recent years. We have to believe it. We know about these things we are gambling our future. We are risking the credibility of something that becomes bigger as time passes” concluded the CEO.
