It's a fiery Austrian Friday. In addition to the race against time that the teams will carry out to better prepare the qualificationin program at 17.00, it was a busy morning for team principals. Lots of new things to come, as well as the surprises that are never lacking in F1...
F1 Commission: what has been decided
Indeed, in the morning, around 11.00, it was held at the Hotel Schloss Gabelhofe, the F1 Commission. A very important meeting given the topics that have been discussed and the decisions that have been taken. In fact, it passes from budget theme chap to the directive on pouring. The stage for was also decided the winter tests of next year which, as in this season, will take place in Bahrain for four days, obviously before the start of the world championship.
Anti-porpoising theme, see you in Belgium
One of the most important topics discussed concerns the directive pouring. From Canada, the FIA announced that it would carry out analyzes on the single-seaters, publishing a directive that all teams must respect to avoid too many jumps. Initially, as the weekend on which the directive would enter into force, was chose the French GP(scheduled in two weeks). At the end of today's meeting however, also to give giving teams more room to adapt to the TD039(name of the anti-porpoising directive), it was decided to start from the Grand Prix of Belgium, therefore at the end of the summer break.

Inflation is making itself felt
It didn't end there. In fact, another topic of great discussion concerns the budget cap. Inflation is taking its toll and, for those reasons, the F1 Commission established a 3.1% increase of the maximum spending limit, initially of 140 million dollars. Another change, strongly wanted by the top teams, who managed to convince almost all the stables. The voting results speak for themselves: 9 teams voted for it, while only one stable was considered contrary to the legislation.

Ben Sulayem: "We will continue like this"
At the end of the meeting, there were no shortage of the chairman FIA I'm Sulayem. "We are in the midst of a historic year for the Form 1, with the introduction of completely new regulations which have so far been a great success. Cs clearly demonstrated at Silverstone where many cars fought for the top positions until the end of the race. We will continue to develop these regulations in a positive direction, and we will continue to raise the bar for safety".
