If there are no route problems during this year, the 2024 calendar will be the longest ever. Will host 24 stages around the 5 continents. However, if F1 does not want to lose some circuits, even among the most historic, it will have to be careful about the various ones contracts, like those of Suzuka and Silverstone, stipulated years ago with the facilities and expiring soon.
Suzuka and Silverstone and the contract expiring next year in the F1 calendar
In the final weeks of last season many tracks renewed their agreements with F1 to accommodate the fastest cars in the world. The most striking case is certainly that of Melbourne, which he even renewed until 2037. As well as the circuit of Bahrain, which we will see in the calendar at least until 2036. In general, races in the Middle East I'm not at risk, given that the closest renewal date is Jeddah. The agreement, in fact, ends in 2027, and Liberty Media surely has other closer issues to resolve.
The most important are undoubtedly those that concern two Motorsport classics: let's talk about Suzuka e Silverstone. Both have a contract to host the premier category of auto racing until this year. This means that we may not see them on the calendar from next year. These two stages, as already mentioned, are very renowned, this means that the parties involved will already be working to resolve this contractual situation.

And how do the Italians fare?
While England and Japan will certainly take precedence, F1 will also have to deal with other famous tracks: Monza ed Imola. The two Italian stages have an agreement until 2025, but the ministers of Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna have confirmed that they are already working on this.
In general, the situation is not rosy, but all the expiring tracks are historic for the category. Circuits like Monaco o American events cannot be missed in a season, because they are very important weekends in terms of visibility. And this Liberty Media and FOM they know it well.
