The starting grid of the Australian Grand Prix opens as always with Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver ripped on the Saturday of qualifying the best performance, ahead of two Mercedes of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. For the two W-14 drivers, qualifying was a super day. The goal on Sunday is to try to put into practice the good things done (and seen) in qualifying in the race. But beware of Fernando Alonso who will start in fourth place next to Hamilton, in a literally crackling second row.
Here are the Ferraris
To find the first Ferrari you have to get to the third row, where it is Carlos Sainz in fifth position. The Spaniard will start alongside Lance Stroll's Aston Martin. Behind them is the other Ferrari by Charles Leclerc and the super Williams by Alexander Albon. Super qualification from the Thai who was Saturday's MVP. They close the top ten in ninth square Gasly and in tenth la Haas by Nico Hulkenberg.

Hoping to reach the points
Eleventh position for Esteban's Alpine Or with, therefore called to comeback to try to get back into the points. The Frenchman was eliminated in Q0.007 by just +2 thousandths and will start next to the AlphaTauri of Yuki tsunoda. The first McLaren, which is that of Lando Norris, who will have Kevin Magnussen's Haas next to him.

At the bottom of the grill
Sixteenth box instead for the landlord Oscar Piastres, who still can't find the total feeling with this car. It must be said that updates will soon arrive at McLaren, but we are still talking about a very long growth (or rather, ascent) program. Instead, Alfa Romeo must stand up alone seventeenth with Zhou and nineteenth with Bottas. In between is Logan Sargeant's Williams. Last position instead for Sergio's Red Bull Perez, forced so to a great comeback.
We leave at 07.00
So everything is ready, please: wake up early so as not to miss a single lap of the third round of the season, with the race which will start at 07.00.
