That of Monza was an ending that will cause discussion and not a little. At the Temple of Speed Max Verstappen wins ahead of Leclerc and George Russell. But the problem is related to the conclusion of the Grand Prix.
The Disaster of the Federation
In fact, on lap 48, Daniel Ricciardo's McLaren is forced to stop for a problem and, between reasoning and yellow flags, the Federation decides to let the Car Safety. And already here, the first mistake comes. In fact, the Aston-registered car comes out in front of George Russell, who was however in third place in the standings, and not ahead of Max Verstappen. The second, and perhaps more obvious mistake, concerns the decision to try to move Ricciardo's car by means of a reverse crane, while the pilots clearly passed on the runway. With a group that didn't regroup, and a slow pace, the FIA then found itself forced to finish the Grand Prix under the Safety Car regime.

Final to forget
It was a really bad and disrespectful image for all the people present in Monza who made it clear their contempt right away the whistles at the checkered flag. At the end of the GP, there was no lack of attacks against the federation, especially by the team principal of Ferrari binotto who stated: “The FIA slept today”.
The FIA replies: “Red flag? The conditions were missing."
Precisely for this reason, at the end of the GP, there was no lack of response from FIA which had its say on the subject:
“Although every effort was made to recover the #3 car and rejoin the race, the Marshalls were unable to put the car into neutral and push it into the escape route. Given that the safety of the recovery operations is our only priority and the incident was not significant enough to require a red flag, the race finished under the safety car following the procedures agreed by the FIA and all the competitors. The timing of the safety car within the race has no bearing on this procedure."
