The situation, even at the communicative level, is getting more and more alive. Il budget theme chap continues to heat up the Formula One paddock with Red Bull feeling attacked on all fronts, but he replies, especially with Marko, even in kind.
Marko on the attack: "In the past, very light penalties"
In the front row to try to defend what the Milton Keynes stables(which it hasn't though confirmed this irregularity) Is Helmut Marko. The Red Bull adviser spoke to the microphones of F1-Insider, expressing his opinion on the possibility that the title won by Verstappen in 2021 could be at risk.
"I don't want to say too much, just this – said Marko – we still believe we haven't broken the cost cap rule at all. Discussions with the FIA are ongoing. Let's see what comes of it in the end. Rumors that Max could lose his title won in 2021 are completely absurd. The past has shown that even extreme violations of the regulations have been punished very lightly by the FIA."

The battle has just begun
Without being explicit, Marko's message is a clear attack on the two teams which I am right now on a war footing. The Ferrari, of which the Austrian councilor drew attention to the PU 2019 case, and the Mercedes which was sanctioned in 2013 with the exclusion from a practice session for young drivers after having carried out three days of illegal tests to experiment with Pirelli tyres. The situation continues to heat up and ignite, but in the end, once again, it will only ever be there FIA to decide.
