These are very special days at home Aston Martin. The Silverstone team has just returned from a very up-and-down season, characterized by a start to the show, with the numerous podiums conquered by Fernando Alonso, and a debacle in the second part. An ascent that causes discussion and that really poses a challenge many questions on the strength of Aston Martin, with Lawrence Stroll who begins to think concretely about a possibility sale.
Aston Martin for sale: Aramco in its place?
The indiscretion was launched by the German source f1-insider.com. It seems, in fact, that the possibilities for a hypothetical sale have already found an acquirer, which seems to be the case the oil company Aramco, which from 2024 will cover the role of title sponsors, replacing Cognizant (which however will not leave the team). Should this news be confirmed, upheavals within the team cannot be ruled out, in particular on their line up. Alonso, by force of circumstances, is absolutely not in question, but i doubts on the figure of Lance stroll they really exist. The Canadian is not facing a good period, with the results - in particular the failure to qualify even for Q2 in the last Grands Prix - which speak very clearly. With a Stroll in huge crisis, Aston is now one step away from losing fourth place in the constructors world championship, with McLaren which gets closer and closer race after race.

A future yet to be written
A possible farewell of Lance from Formula 1 would almost be the perfect assist for his father to be able to sell his coveted Aston Martin. At the moment, however, such rumors they were not commented on by the person concerned, who prefers to reflect and understand what the next moves might be that need to be made for the fate of his team which so aspired to win the title of world champion in the coming years, at least as he himself admitted.
