It's certainly not an unmemorable season, at least until now, for Aston Martin. The Silverstone team is right now penultimate in the constructors' classification and the goal of winning again in five years, declared at the beginning of the season, seems to be very far away.
The big problems of this season
Aston Martin is a very particular car, which we can summarize as follows: very good in the race, in terms of pace, but very bad in qualifying. What does this mean? What if even on Sunday the Stroll stable has a good pace, he always has to fight to try to get into the top ten, consider the positions in which the pilots leave before the lights go out.

Aston's move
Even the summer of english team was quite particular. Sebastian Vettel's farewell got a little upset il Circus, especially considering his statements register one week before the announcement of the withdrawal. However, Aston Martin was not found unprepared and ran immediately at the restarts with Fernando Alonso.

Krack: "We were brave"
The two-time world champion has accepted the offer from the green no doubt because he believes in the project(ennot alone). In fact, this year Aston Martin has been courageous and will continue to be so in 2023, as stated from the Krack team principal:
“I think we were brave, because we came up with something different, but we abandoned it within Barcelona. For me the guys did a good job, because they evaluated two different concepts and then chose the one they thought was better, ignoring the problems of porpoising. However, let's see how even an established organization like Mercedes has a similar approach, but they have struggled up to now and are not where they wanted to be. From that point of view, I wouldn't say we held back on anything, we developed the most promising avenue, but we just couldn't get it to work."
