New Grand Prix e new update package coming soon. In view of the Grand Prix of Canada, not many teams have decided to bring new features – as most teams chose to do so two weeks ago at Barcelona. However, there are those who, as in the case of Aston Martin, have made a slight "exchange to the rule" for the ninth race week of the season.
Aston Martin: new fund. Also new are the bellies and the bonnet
From this evening, starting at 19.30pm, the Canadian weekend will officially begin, with the cars taking to the track for the first free practice session. It will therefore be the first opportunity to notice the changes made on the AMR23. La Silverstone stable, in fact, after a somewhat anomalous weekend in Barcelona - in which Stroll and Alonso finished in sixth and seventh place respectively - he wants to shine again. To do it, the new package has been installed updates: it is possible to notice technical innovations that concern bellies and bonnet. The most important aspect, from what filters through, concerns the new fund – which will be tested starting from FP1.

Alonso hopes for 33: “I'm very calm”
Fernando Alonso he had said: "The result in Barcelona doesn't scare me. We will bring news to Canada and Silverstone, so I'm very calm." The Spaniard dreams of the famous 33 and, considering the importance of tire management on the Montreal track, he is considered one of the favorites heading into the race. Verstappen he is clearly the number one candidate for victory on Sunday, but Alonso will undoubtedly be aiming to return to the podium again – a fixture on practically every weekend.

Stroll raises expectations: “I would like both cars to be on the podium”
For this weekend the expectations at Aston Martin are not very high, but more. In fact, the owner himself admits it Lawrence Stroll which sets the goal: bring both riders to the podium.
“I am very confident. I hope to get both cars on the podium. I think the car will be very strong in Montreal which is a track that suits our car well.”

We leave at 19.30
Confidence is certainly not lacking at Aston Martin: will dad Stroll's expectations be confirmed? Only the track will be able to tell us.
