In recent months the hottest news and at the center of many controversies had been the maxi-offer by the Saudi fund which she was said to be intending to buy the circus.
The sports minister denies everything: "Only speculations"
What had inflamed all the audience and Liberty Medium itself had been the I decline by the former director of the FIA Mohammed Bin Sulayem. The multiple world rally champion had in fact openly exposed himself on Twitter, flatly rejecting the offer.
But what has caused a stir in recent days is the news that that 20 billion offer had never been presented. In fact, as reported by the prince himself as well as Saudi sports minister, Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, all these were only speculation: “I only know what I've read in the news – he told the German newspaper TZ - and I think it is mere speculation. But the matter still caused a sensation, and it was nothing new ".

Saudi Arabia not head of F1, but increasingly involved
A future therefore lies ahead Rainforest for F1 at least in the next few years. But, for a few seasons now, Saudi Arabia has been becoming increasingly influential inside the circus. From 2021, in fact, the stage of Jeddah it has become a stable appointment on the calendar, a race that always offers a lot of entertainment on and off the track. Not only that: from 2026 we could even run up two Saudi circuits, thus making Arabia the third country (after the USA and Italy) to have more than one GP in its own land.
The influence that wants to place this nation in the highest category of motorsport does not stop here: in fact, as explained several times by the prince himself, there is the intention to create a team which would run thanks to the funds of the kingdom. This denotes how much they really want to push to create a real culture about this world inside Saudi Arabia, so as to entice more and more young people to get passionate about this sport.
