It hasn't been an easy season for AlphaTauri. Unlike Red Bull fresh from the constructors' title at Suzuka, AlphaTauri occupies last place in the standings with 5 points. The AT03 is not a competitive single-seater, furthermore the team has had to review its line-up several times, first due to the not too satisfactory performances of DeVries, then for Ricciardo's injury. The last points arrived in Singapore thanks to the newcomer, Liam Lawson. which will also take part in the race weekend in Qatar. The objective is therefore to end the season at least ahead of Alfa Romeo to avoid what would be the worst result for the satellite team of Red Bull, former Toro Rosso. In all of this the team is going through a transition phase. In addition to a new Team Principal, Laurent mekies, a new title sponsor will arrive next year. This will rename the team which will no longer be called AlphaTauri.
There was initially talk of Hugo Boss as a possible title sponsor but the latest rumors speak of an even bigger and more important name in the sportswear sector: Adidas.
Adidas title sponsor AlphaTauri from 2024the clues
The Swiss portal View reports that AlphaTauri is preparing for an epochal change by abandoning its current name to run under the name of Adidas, the renowned sportswear brand, starting from 2024. There was initially also talk of a change of ownership, a news denied. However, there will be new sponsors in addition to the new name to bring a breath of fresh air to a team that is navigating in the dark. The direction is clear: relaunch based on the Red Bull model, as far as the regulations allow.
But returning to the sponsors Hugo Boss should arrive in AlphaTauri, but not as title sponsor. And this was also partly confirmed by the new CEO of the team, Peter bayer who talked about a bigger brand than Hugo Boss for the new name. This fueled the thesis of View about the arrival of Adidas. At the moment the sports clothing brand has not denied, much less confirmed the agreement. However always second View negotiations between Red Bull and Adidas are still ongoing.

An alternative: BWT
An alternative option, according to Formula 1 journalist Joe Saward, would be BWT, currently sponsoring Alpine but which in the past has also colored Racing Point with its very particular pink livery.
