Fernando Alonso think about its increasingly distinctive future Aston Martin. The Spanish driver, who spoke in an exclusive interview with Brand, took stock of his next commitments, making clear his desire to continue growing with the Silverstone team and of wanting to stay within the Formula 1 for some more time. "The starting point is a little better than I thought, but now comes the difficulties. Adesso – explained Alonso in the interview with Marca – The most difficult period for Aston Martin arrives".
Alonso: “My future at Aston Martin? We have to work for the next 2-3 years"
The 2023 vintage that has just ended was characterized by an exceptional start (with Aston second on track by second place), followed by a great descent, which led to Stroll's team a relegated from second to fifth position in the constructors' championship. This is certainly not good and, for this very reason, we will need to improve and grow starting from 2024. To do this, however, Aston know that they will have to rely on Alonso, who has already identified the fundamental points on which to start working. “I think in the next two or three years we have the need to find something that no machine currently has. You have to be creative, innovative. I have the impression that this will be the biggest challenge we are preparing to face" concluded the Spanish driver.

A certainty of Fanta F1
However, with a year full of podiums, Alonso confirmed himself as one of the strong points for many fantasy managers during the season at Fanta F1. The Spaniard, in fact, ended his year with a fantasy average of + 13.84, becoming the fifth driver with the highest points average of 2023. The story, however, is slightly different for his teammate Stroll, which ended the season with a fantamedia of only +3.91 points. Certainly not an excellent result, which the Canadian himself hopes to be able to improve starting from 2024.
