After the two week break, Formula One returns to the track and does so at Singapore. So we start again from Marina Bay for the seventeenth race of the season, with very welcome returns.
All solved
It hasn't been an easy few weeks for Alexander Albon. The pilot of Williams he had to say goodbye prematurely, on Saturday to be exact, to the Monza weekend cause appendicitis. After being operated on, with a initially not the best situation, the Williams driver tried to do everything possible to return ahead of the Singapore weekend. Instead of him, in Monza, he was named Nyck De Vries which didn't disappoint at all. The Dutch driver finished ninth in the standings and seems to be ready to sign for the AlphaTauri.
Albon is there, De Vries too
After the great performance of De Vries and the conditions of Albon which were not the best, the Grove team has not ruled out the possibility that De Vries could also take part in this GP. During the day, however, the communication arrived that Alexander Albon is officially back and will be in his Williams for this weekend. However, Nyck De Vries will also be there who, at least for now, will be watching the Grand Prix from the pits.
Albon's joy
Good news for the rider who renewed his contract a few months ago. Albon is ready to return and in this regard he has declared.
“First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the messages and support received during the Italian Grand Prix weekend. My preparation for Singapore has been a little different than usual, but I'm feeling good and have done everything possible to prepare for one of the most physical races on the calendar. I don't underestimate the big challenge ahead of me, but I can't wait to get back on track on Friday to get back to riding. It's a great street circuit and it's the closest race to home for me in Thailand, so I'm really excited to be here and to see the fans who have flocked to the track."
